Originated in China, familiar among Asians, A staple constituent in Thai and Chinese cuisine and a versatile ingridient with n number of health benifits….yes it is ‘Tofu’

It does look like a block or cube of Paneer but this highly nutritious product is primarily made out of dried soyabeans, generally by coagulating ‘Soy milk’, pressing it into a solid block and then cooling it.

So one can store it in a refrigerator for almost 3 months and it would still be fresh.

 Also known as bean curd, Tofu is an excellent source of protein, iron, calcium, magnesium and vitamin B

And for vegans and vegetarians an indispensable part of their diet as many amazing and delicious meals can be made using Tofu 

Well the perks of it…….helps in lowering bad cholesterol and combat chronic diseases like Cancer.

We have added a slight twist to the original Paneer Makhanvala.

We used Tofu ( Paneer made from Soya Milk ) from @aurosoya and the result was simply amazing. 

The smoked flavour of Tofu made it tastier and an healthier option than Paneer. 

A must try for all the Vegans out there.
